It is always "funny" to hear how English pronounce Volkswagen or VW ....


How "VW" sounds in German?
The "V" sounds like "fough" or the first part of "foul" (without the "l") ...
The "W" sounds like "vay" or the first part of "vain" (without the "n) ...

But you should Germans hear saying Worcester, Derby or Warwickshire ...

I'm forever telling German speaking Swiss how to pronounce "up!"...!!!



When I tell them "up" in English they hear "ab" in German, which can be used tomean"down".
