Intercooler and oil cooler on the GTI?

Hi everyone. I finally took delivery of my new GTI last Monday and I love it. The handbook doesn't give me much technical info though.

I am sure it must have an intercooler for the turbo and a Google search seems to indicate that it does and that it also has a sandwich-type oil cooler fed by the cooling water.

Could someone confirm if it does indeed have both please?

Thanks so much

There is a charge cooler to cool the air after it has been through the compressor, before it goes into the combustion chamber.

It is integrated into the intake manifold and cooled by a water circuit. You can easily see it under bonnet in front of the engine where the water pipes connect.
