Oil spec required for Seat Mii

It's a Toca 1000cc Manual.

Look up online and there's always different specs recommended and I think the shop I went in last time said I needed a different oil to the one mentioned in the users manual.

You may see thinner oil specced for the most recent Up!s, but IIRC, older CHYA/B engines usually use 5W/30 synthetic in the UK. VW spec 504.

Don't sweat it, many other things will probably turn thevcar into scrap before slight differences in oil will ruin its engine.
