Can anyone help. Can you replace the starter motor from above with easy access on a 2012 High UP

I've done the starter motor on my Mii, it was a bit of a pain but its all done from the top, only a few bolts, just a nightmare to take them out! Double check it actually is the starter, we spent £200 and a few hours on it, and it turned out it was actually the engine ground strap.
