Has anyone come across issues where your VIN number is not recognised? Taken from the Windscreen/Cross Checked with Paperwork too (replacing 0 with O and vice versa) it is not recognised by VW nor is it when trying to do a parts look up online by VIN. The car is 5 months old now…slightly confused?

The chassis number should be the first thing that their system recognises, the reg is attached to the car when it is registered. When we finally got my dad's new car through, we had to call the insurance company and give them the registration as they could only find the chassis number. Also, on ETKA, as soon as the car is built, the chassis number is loaded onto that system, so we can look up parts for it as soon as it's added.
