That's a great figure - over two times more economical than your old car!








Incidentally, was this figure was using cruise control for most of the journey? Never having had cruise control on any of my cars, I always thought there was a fuel penalty for using it (the human brain being better at judging speed/controlling throttleetc).

 

Yup, using cruise adds 5mpg easily to my average....cruise is a must!

Only applies minimum throttle needed to maintain speed....better than my judgement !
