How to scroll between DAB stations on RCD 215?

I have a 2014 Up with the RCD 215 radio. I am trying to set the default DAB stations 1-6 to some BBC stations, but I cannot work out how to scroll between the various BBC radio stations that are on the 12B block of the DAB “spectrum” (not super au fait with the lingo) as per the guidance here:

I can store Radio 1 successfully, but only because it is the first station in the list! How do I scroll between the stations to access say Radio 4? When using the right scroll wheel it just jumps to the next block 12C which doesn’t have any of the stations.

I am a techy person but for the life of me I cannot figure this out! Unfortunately I have swapped cars with my wife and predictably she has lost the manual for the radio! With no mention of radio settings in the main manual.

Do the left and right arrow keys next to the CD slot perform any function when in DAB radio mode?
Cancel that e-up!, you were right!

For anyone else stuck on this not-so-intuitive system, to store DAB stations to the presets you have to:

1) use the right function dial to select the desired DAB block (in my case 12B for BBC national stations)
2) press the right function dial to bring up a menu
3) select SCN, using the same dial
4) this will display the list of scanned stations (for some reason it can only scan like 5 or 6 at a time). To scroll between them , use the skip forward/backwards buttons of the CD PLAYER,
NOT the right function dial(why VW why??)
5) press and hold the station preset buttons 1-6 at the bottom to save them to the presets.

FINALLY I can access 6 Music in my car!! Next question though…why is the signal strength so poor? 🤣 my old car had an aftermarket DAB antenna and stereo installed and the signal strength was never an issue, but sat in the same place in the Up, some play fine but half of the stations get very poor/no signal.
I know my wife had to buy a replacement antenna for the top of the car a few years ago. Does it need to be a specific type/spec to pick up DAB signals properly?
